The Clover Station Duo includes features built specifically for in-person transactions, such as a customer-facing display and support for contactless payments, including digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
While the Clover Station Solo can also be used for face-to-face transactions, it is best suited for situations where the merchant manages the payment away from the customer—for example, in restaurants or for card-not-present orders.
The Clover Station Solo comes with a 14” touchscreen monitor and card reader, a receipt printer with starter paper rolls, all required power adapters and cables, plus an Ethernet cable and network hub.
A cash drawer is not included with the Clover Station Solo but can be added for a small one-time purchase. It features five bill slots and five coin slots, and when connected to the Solo via the included interface cable, it opens automatically during cash transactions.
Yes. All Clover devices, including the Clover Station Solo, are designed to integrate seamlessly with one another through the secure Clover Cloud.
This enables you to open, manage, and process payments for the same order across multiple Clover devices linked to your account.
Unlike the hardwired connection featured in the Clover Station Duo, these integrations are cloud-based, which can introduce some additional latency. For the Clover Station Solo, the most effective setup is pairing it with complementary devices for tasks such as tableside ordering and payments, kitchen ticket printing, or back-office management.
The standard printer for the Clover Station Solo uses thermal rolls that are 3 1/8 inches wide by 230 feet long. You may contact service for assistance in purchasing replacement paper or obtain it from a third-party source.
